Toyota South Africa is offering a Learnership Programme for unemployed youth to gain technical and manufacturing skills. This programme provides structured training that equips learners with essential skills for the automotive and manufacturing industry.
Training Areas Include:
- Working in a team
- Safety procedures
- Hand tools usage
- Assembly and manufacturing
- Reading and interpreting drawings and markings
- Welding techniques
- Operating and monitoring production machines
- Surface preparation
- Firefighting techniques
- Operations and dispatching of products
Minimum Requirements
Educational Qualifications:
National Technical Certificate (N3 – N6)
Matric / Technical Matric with:
- Mathematics & Physical Science OR Engineering Science
- Electrical Trade Theory OR Mechanical Trade Theory OR Motor Trade Theory
- Mechanical Drawing / Graphical Design
Required Competencies
- Strong communication skills
- Good planning and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt to new environments
- Strong analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in gathering information
- Perseverance and problem-solving abilities
Upon completion of the Learnership Programme, participants will receive an NQF Level 3 certification.
