The South African Diamond and Precious Metals Regulator (SADPMR), established under Section 3 of the Diamonds Amendment Act, 2005 (Act 29 of 2005), is dedicated to regulating the downstream diamond and precious metals industries.
The goal is to ensure fair access to the Republic’s diamond and precious metals resources, promoting local beneficiation, and ensuring compliance with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme. We invite self-motivated and qualified individuals to apply for the following vacancy, seeking to stand out in their respective fields:

In collaboration with the Mining Qualification Authority (MQA), SADPMR invites qualified graduates to join the organization for a 24-month internship program.
We are seeking high-achieving graduates in the following fields:
- Jewellery Design and Manufacture (x3 Candidates to be based in the Jewellers Industry – Germiston)
- Diploma/National Diploma in Jewellery Design and Manufacture
- REF: JHB01
- Inspectorate (x1 candidate to be based in Head Office – Kempton Park)
- Degree/Honours Degree in Metallurgy
- REF: JHB02
- Internal Auditing (x1 Candidate to be based in Head Office – Kempton Park)
- Post Graduate Diploma in Internal Auditing
- REF: JHB03
INSTRUCTIONS: Graduates must be South African citizens aged between 18 and 35, having completed qualifications in the mentioned disciplines.

Successful candidates will be required to enter into an Internship Agreement with SADPMR. The organization is not obligated to employ the intern upon program completion, and a monthly stipend will be provided.
