Job Purpose:
As a Cleaner at Bidvest Prestige, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our client’s facilities. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that all areas remain neat, sanitary, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning of designated client facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections of restrooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness.
- Clean floors, rooms, and surfaces by dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot-cleaning glass and windows.
- Vacuum, empty trash, and replace liners as needed.
- Maintain proper sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
- Carry out additional cleaning duties as required.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
- Matric (Senior Certificate).
- 6 months of relevant experience in the cleaning industry.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Motivation, proactivity, and a customer-focused approach.
- Good relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
