Role Purpose

As a Customer Acquisition Agent, you will:
✔ Process credit vetting, activations, and ownership transfers
✔ Ensure accurate customer verification before activation
✔ Handle escalated queries from Trade Partners & customers
✔ Maintain service level standards with professionalism


Key Responsibilities

🔹 Credit Vetting: Assess and process manual credit applications while minimizing bad debt risk.
🔹 Customer Activation: Accurately activate GSM/non-GSM services on Vodacom’s billing system.
🔹 Ownership Transfers: Process transfer requests efficiently.
🔹 Query Resolution: Provide telephonic support on credit vetting, activations, and system issues.
🔹 Compliance: Follow Vodacom’s policies and procedures for all transactions.

Requirements Call Centre Agent

✅ Matric (Grade 12) – Essential
✅ 2+ years of relevant experience, including:

  • 1 year in a call centre (Credit Vetting) – Essential
  • Previous Credit Vetting experience – Essential
    ✅ Credit-related Diploma (Advantageous)

Job Knowledge & Skills Needed Call Centre Agent

📌 Credit vetting & decision-making
📌 Customer verification & validation
📌 Microsoft Office & data capturing
📌 Call centre experience (Vodacom billing system knowledge is a plus)
