SALARY: R131 265 per annum (Level 02), on the salary scale R131 265 – R154 626

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Grade 10 and/or ABET Level 1-4.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning machines and equipment operation.
- Strong communication, writing, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Personal attributes: honesty, integrity, flexibility, professionalism, and ability to work in a team.
- Willingness to work extra hours as required.
DUTIES:
- Provide cleaning services in the Executive Authority offices, including offices, corridors, boardrooms, kitchens, and restrooms.
- Maintain cleaning machines and equipment.
- Provide logistical support during meetings and workshops (e.g., serving tea and coffee).
- Ensure a clean and organized working environment.
- Perform additional duties as delegated.
- Overtime work may be required.

Candidates must be available for interviews and assessments at the specified date, time, and venue. All shortlisted candidates will undergo personnel suitability checks. The successful candidate will be subjected to security vetting. Reference checks, including social media screening, will be conducted. Appointment is subject to a positive security clearance outcome.
The appointed candidate must sign an employment contract and a performance agreement with the Department. Applicants must declare any conflicts of interest, including memberships on boards or directorships, as well as any business conducted with an Organ of State. Employees falling within designated groups must submit financial disclosures within three months of appointment.
Due to the expected high volume of applications, individual acknowledgments will not be issued. REQUIREMENTS FOR SENIOR MANAGEMENT POSTS (SL13-16)
Candidates for SMS-level positions must successfully complete the Senior Management Pre-entry Programme (Nyukela) as endorsed by the NSG. Prior to appointment, candidates must complete the Nyukela Programme: Pre-entry Certificate to Senior Management Services, available online through the National School of Government (NSG) and endorsed by the DPSA. No appointment to an SMS post will be made without the successful completion and proof of the pre-entry certificate. Shortlisted candidates for SMS posts will undergo a technical exercise assessing job-related competencies, with further details provided by the Department. Following the interview and technical assessment, candidates will be required to participate in a generic managerial competency assessment, as mandated by the DPSA Directive on competency-based assessments. The assessment will evaluate managerial competencies using DPSA-approved tools.
Women will be given preference for SMS posts in line with the Department’s Employment Equity Plan.
