Minimum Requirements For Cleaner Positions
✔ Education:
- AET Level 4 (Adult Education & Training) OR
- Grade 9 Certificate
✔ Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures & safety requirements
- Ability to operate cleaning appliances (vacuum, mop, polish)
- Basic literacy & numeracy
- Reliable, honest, and hardworking
✔ Personal Attributes:
- Punctual & responsible
- Willing to follow instructions
- Good work ethic & teamwork
Duties & Responsibilities
🧹 Cleaning & Maintenance:
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, and polish floors
- Clean toilets, windows, doors, and surfaces
- Empty rubbish bins & maintain hygiene standards
☕ Refreshment Services:
- Prepare & serve tea/coffee for staff
- Wash dishes & clean kitchen areas
🛠️ Equipment Handling:
- Proper use of cleaning tools & chemicals
- Report damaged equipment
