About the Road Accident Fund (RAF):
The Road Accident Fund’s mission is to provide comprehensive cover for all road users within South Africa, offering rehabilitation and compensation to individuals injured in motor vehicle accidents in a timely and compassionate manner, while actively promoting road safety.
Graduate Development Programme Overview:
The RAF invites qualified graduates to apply for its Graduate Development Programme within the Medical Risk and Business Solutions: Medical Advisory and Risk Management division. This 18 to 24-month programme offers development opportunities to talented, high-potential individuals from diverse backgrounds, aligning with their skills and talents.
Programme Purpose:
The Graduate Programme is designed to provide real work experience, allowing graduates to develop and enhance their technical, business, and leadership skills, laying the foundation for future growth within the organization.RAF Graduate Program: Opportunities for Health Sciences, Nursing, and Pharmacy Graduates
Developmental Outcomes:
The programme will cover various areas, including but not limited to:
- Motor Vehicle Accident Processes and Procedures
- Medical Tariffs
- Medical Advisory
- Clinical Research Protocols
- Medical Policy and Research
- Medical Bill Review
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Certified copy of Grade 12 or NQF 4 level certificate
- Certified copy of Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Health Sciences/Nursing/Pharmacy or academic transcript
- Valid registration with relevant statutory body (SANC, SAPC, HPCSA, etc.)
- Final year students must provide the latest semester academic results
- Certified copy of ID
- CV and motivational letter

Role and Duties:
- Complete all Medical Advisory and Risk Management modules within the specified timeframe

- Build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders
- Engage with stakeholders for business and community context
Terms and Conditions:
- Contract of Employment: Fixed-term contract for the duration of the graduate programme, with potential for permanent employment upon successful completion
- Date of Employment: 01 February 2025
- Location: RAF Head Office, Centurion
- Appointment subject to successful completion of degree and final academic results
- Security vetting will be conducted
